We had a pretty complicated, eclectic wall to put together and decided we needed help. Their frame selections are amazing, the wall turned out so much better than I could have conceived on my own. Andrea chose frames for us that I never would have chosen on my own, and I truly love every one of them. She has an amazing eye!
They both took a full 90 minutes with our consult which was also a huge luxury. As a right brain person, I am fascinated watching Andrea's mind work with color and texture, she takes it all in and explains the 'why' of her recommendations which I also found super helpful and very reassuring.
Finally, she has an hourly fee but we were so glad to pay her to not only bring our artwork over, but to spend another hour on arrangement and where we might hang other artwork as well. I think this service is a MUST and probably most people don't understand the importance of having a professional actually see your space.

"These guys! If you want people who know what they're doing and care about their work, go here. We love art and we have numerous pieces in our home that we love to display. We received a piece from a close friend and it was important that we find the correct background to showcase it. "Matthew did a great job taking three oil paintings that I bought while I lived abroad, and mounting them on a frame. As a new arrival to the city, I shopped around to several different frame shops in San Francisco, and after meeting Matthew and Andrea, I felt that they both had a high level of skill/craftsmanship AND value/price (I was not disappointed). "My bf and I had a blanket knitted by his great-great-grandmother that had unfortunately been ruined by a dog. I took it around to several knitting specialists and they said there was nothing they could do. There's no way we could toss such a great piece of history so we brought it to Aspect to see if they could frame it. Not only did they work with my budget, they hand sewed the blanket on to a silk back in order to not damage the blanket any further, and they hand delivered it to my apartment as a surprise anniversary gift for my bf.

“Andrea and Matthew have now framed 5 of my paintings, and I'm certain there isn't a better experience, service, and "product" than what they offer. Andrea has a great eye for color and style, and provides excellent advice. Since day 1 I've felt comfortable enough to go in a different direction than her suggestions, but for the most recent 3 I've used her suggestions and have loved the final product. Everything about the experience is 5 stars.
Most recently I got this 6' x 4' painting framed at their studio (see attached image). Yes, 6 feet by 4 feet! It took some time but we walked through over 20 frame options, with different colors for each style. They were very patient, and of course it came out flawless, and for a small fee Matt even delivered it himself!
I will continue traveling and buying paintings from wherever I go. Aspect Framing Studio is the only place I'll trust, especially with these originals. Thanks for everything!!”

"Matthew and Andrea have very sharp eyes. And a lovely dog to boot.
I have an eclectic collection of prints. I own long exposures of the milky way, topographic maps in violent fluorescent colors, and hand-carved Japanese Woodblock prints, among other things. Matthew and Andrea were able to help me zero in on some delicious frame combinations and turned them all around in two weeks. They kept in touch with me throughout the wait, and even waited after closing to help me load my purchases into my car.

"I went to Aspect to get a picture framed and I am so happy with the result and so glad I chose Aspect! I went in the shop and having no idea how to go about choosing how to frame it, Andrea had great suggestions and helped me pick just the right frame.
